“Abstract, colorful, with an attractive and feminine power” - these are the words I use to describe my art!.
I was born in 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and art has been present in my life since I was a kid. I studied art throughout my life with different local artists, because, as I always say, painting keeps me grounded. I graduate as an Art Historian in 2008, and as an Architect in 2013, but I decided that I would live a life based in what I’m really passionate about and makes me truly happy: painting.
My paintings are mostly acrylic paintings, but I also love working on acrylic mix paintings, for example, acrylic paint with charcoal, oil pastels, gesso, pencils, ink, spray paint and many other artistic materials.
Abstraction is the leading character of my work. What I love about abstract art is that it requires you to have an open, inquiring mind; you must enter the painting and see where it takes you. Abstract art gives you the freedom to explore the artwork and assign your own meaning to the piece. And that’s what I want the others to seek in my paintings, their own meaning, what is that moved them.
Sometimes I like to explore figurative art from nature, mostly by painting flowers, but always from a “naive” point of view.
My palette is filled with the delicious colors of joy and happiness. I wouldn't have it any other way. I experience color as a source of inspiration. My paintings are motivated by the combination of color, seeking to generate transparencies, contrasts, areas of light and shadow, shape, texture and surface. Each piece of art is truly unique and only one of its kind.
